SCHOLASTIC SUBJECTS : TERM 1 (100 Marks)

Assessment Procedure Wt Key Features
1) Periodical Test (PT) 10% One PT for Term 1 for 1 hours 25 Marks . Marks to be converted to 10% Weight age .
2) Note Book  Submission (NBS) 5% Criteria for awarding Marks (1 mark for each of the 5 criteria):

3) Content

4) Completion

5) Quality

3) Subject Enrichment (SE) 5% ·         Language Subjects : English, Hindi and Sanskrit : ASL (Assessment of Speaking and Listening skills )/Friday Test

·          Maths, Science & SSC  : Practical Work /Project /Map Work /Friday Test

4) Half Yearly Examination (HYE) 80% 50 % of Syllabus to be completed for Term 1
Total Marks 100% Pass Percentage shall be 33 % of 80 marks and 33% of 20 marks subject to the following minimum marks .

a) 7 marks out of 20 marks  (PT,NBS& SE)

b) 26 marks out of 80 marks  (AE)

5) Periodical Test (PT) 10% Two  PT for Term 2   for 1 hours 25 Marks . Any one (Best) shall be considered for final marks to be converted to 10% Weightage .
6) Note Book  Submission (NBS) 5% Criteria for awarding Marks (1 mark for each of the 5 criteria:

8) Annual Examination (AE) 80% Syllabus shall be 10% of 1st Term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of Term II.

a) 7 marks out of 20 marks  (PT,NBS& SE)
